Matt Pierello lost his leg in a parachuting accident in 2010 at an Air Force ROTC training camp. After spending a year recovering from the accident and learning how to walk and run with his protheses he returned to school at Ohio University in the fall of 2011, and is currently petitioning the Air Force to serve in active duty as an amputee. Matt participates in ROTC drills every Tueaday and Thursday morning at 6:30 am.
